From the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic to the Sapphire Gala Ball and everything inbetween, our events are a testament to the energy and commitment of our volunteers. An important way we build community and raise awareness of our services, we simply couldn't hold these events without people like you.
Yes, I’d like to be involvedWe need 500 volunteers for the Bobbo!
Yes, it’s huge! Every year, we need roughly 400 marshalls, 40 drink-stop assistants and at least 60 other volunteers for the various support teams that make this event so much fun and such a success!
As the official charity partner and to show our appreciation for the incredible support we receive from the Bobbo, we’d love you to join us as one of our volunteers. Spend the day, or a few hours, and be part of our community while supporting the riders raising money for our services.

It’s really easy. To register your interest, simply fill in the Volunteer Registration Form on the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic website.
Make sure you write Lifeline H2HS in the Comment box at the bottom of the registration form so we can be identified and the organisers can roster you on with the Lifeline team and people you know.
It’s heaps of fun, really rewarding, and you’re helping Lifeline H2HS support our community with our crisis support and suicide prevention services. Thank you!
Be part of our night of nights!
One of our major fundraising events for the year, the Sapphire Gala Ball relies on volunteers to help set up, seat guests, sell raffle tickets, operate the silent auction, allocate prizes and more. It’s a great night and a lot of fun, so get involved!
Held at the Fullerton Hotel, Sydney, volunteers will be needed to help set up for the event between 1pm and 5pm, or in the evening from 5pm until 11pm. Of course, if you need to arrive later or leave earlier, please let us know so we can tailor a role to your availability.

As well as the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic and the Sapphire Gala Ball, we run a range of fundraising events, and we’d love you to be involved. There’s Go For Broke, a 180-kilometre cycling challenge to the Hunter Valley, and our Lifeline H2HS Golf Day, as well as other smaller events.
Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney relies on these fundraising activities to meet the ever-increasing demand for our crisis support and suicide prevention services, and there are many ways you can help, from behind the scenes to committee work.
